Wilcox Lane is a Senior Citizen*, residential community in Canandaigua, NY. It is a three story building consisting of one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Each apartment has its own heating and air conditioning system, gas range, frost-free refrigerator, and wall-to-wall carpeting. A large community room is located off the lobby where an ongoing schedule of activities takes place. The community room is equipped with tables and chairs, pool table, large screen TV with VCR, piano, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Community Room can also be reserved by our residents for private parties. In addition, each floor has its own lounge with tables and chairs.
Located at the end of a street, our residents enjoy quiet surrounding with beautifully landscaped grounds including a courtyard furnished with benches, picnic tables, barbecue grills and shuffleboard court. The location is within walking distance of the library, several churches and the downtown business/shopping district. Transportation is available by city bus, the county mini-bus and/or taxi service. Wegman's Supermarket provides a bus weekly for the convenience of our residents for grocery shopping.
